The project explores the ways in which relationships with others can help us learn about ourselves. As a young girl coming into womanhood, my various relationships with men, romantic and platonic led me to reflect on my femininity and self in various ways. The book attempts to explore these ideas and hopes viewers can see their own experiences or learn new perspectives through the stories.

Idea sparking from a letter I wrote, then turned into a portrait series, and ultimately book project. I shot a series of five portraits and wrote five accompanying stories, and over the course of a year designed these into a book as my first photo book exploration.

Bootstrapped a launch party at Fortune World NYC, sold out of the entire first edition. Exhibited a series of screen printed posters to accompany the books, and sold the majority of poster stock. Click here to see more.
